Charlotte DeWitt, CFEE, has produced waterfront festivals and international events since 1979, working in some 29 countries throughout North America, Europe, “Down Under”, Asia, and the Middle East. A highly respected industry leader, she has been interviewed by print and broadcast media worldwide and is widely sought after as a speaker.

Charlotte DeWitt is the only inductee into the 2009 International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA) Hall of Fame, the highest honor in the industry. She is Past Chair of IFEA and founder/past President/CEO of IFEA Europe.

Charlotte lived in Stockholm, Sweden, from 1994-2004, where she served as the President of the American Club of Sweden and was a founder of the Association of American Clubs. She was also First Vice President of FAWCO, the Federation of American Women’s Clubs Overseas, with 15,000 members in 37 clubs in 78 countries.

A native of Boston, Massachusetts (USA), Charlotte enjoys golf, music, golf, travel, golf, and people. She speaks fluent American, adequate French, and basic Swedish. She is a Certified Festival and Event Executive (CFEE), but has also been seen as a 3-meter (10 foot)-tall inflatable blue elephant.
